Asaka (亜咲花) is a Japanese Anisong singer, solo artist, and voice actress.

 

She debuted in 2016 at the age of 17, singing the ending theme song “Open Your Eyes” to the anime Occultic;Nine.

 

Since then, she has been responsible for theme songs for several anime and games including A Centaur's Life, Yuru Camp (Laid Back Camp), ISLAND, YU-NO: A Girl Who Chants Love at the Bound of This World, Summertime Render, Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni Gou, and more. 

 

Asaka’s Opening theme song “Shiny Days” for the 2018 anime Yuru Camp released on January 24, 2018 ranked 8th on the Oricon Digital single weekly ranking, and 1st on the Mora single ranking on release.  She has also contributed several other songs to the series, including “Seize the Day”, “The Sunshower”, and “Sun is Coming Up” from the Laid-Back Camp: The Movie.

 

She released her 3rd full length album, “Who’s Me?” on June 28th, 2023.

 

Asaka has also been recently active as a voice actress, voicing the character Espoir City in the mobile game Uma Musume: Pretty Derby, and Zoe Delaunay from the unit Parabola in the mixed-media project Utagoe wa Mille-Feuille.

 

Her newest single, “Give & Take” is the Opening theme song for the anime, The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper in Another World.

 

In her free time, Asaka has also become interested in horse racing, in part influenced by her father and the app game Uma Musume.  Growing up, Asaka spent 5 years in Michigan, USA and has native level English pronunciation, singing in both English and Japanese.

 

Her name 亜咲花 means the “flower that blooms in Asia”.  With her powerful vocals and unforgettable performance, Asaka will bloom on stage!
